In the field of industrial automation control, the automatic butterfly valve is a key actuator unit and is widely used in various fluid pipeline systems. Before operating the electric butterfly valve, it must be fully inspected. First, the appearance of the valve must be carefully checked to ensure that the valve body, valve disc and sealing ring are not damaged or worn. Secondly, confirm that the working environment around the valve is safe and eliminate dangerous goods or obstacles that may pose a threat to the operator. In addition, for electrically operated butterfly valves, it is also necessary to ensure that the power supply is connected normally to avoid operational errors caused by power failure.
During the actual operation, the operator needs to pay attention to the following key points. First, confirm the initial state of the electric butterfly valve. For manually operated valves, make sure it is in the closed state; electric butterfly valves usually do not require this step, but the electric device should be in standby state. Next, according to the indication mark on the valve, determine the operation direction, that is, rotate the valve stem clockwise or counterclockwise. When rotating the handle or handwheel, it is necessary to carefully control the speed of opening and closing to avoid too fast or too slow to prevent unnecessary damage to the valve. At the same time, the operator should monitor the working state of the butterfly valve at any time, pay special attention to the joint between the valve disc and the sealing ring, and ensure that there is no leakage or jamming.
After the operation is completed, the operator also needs to perform a series of inspections and maintenance work. First, cut off the power supply of the electric butterfly valve in time to ensure the safety of the operation. Secondly, check the working state of the valve and confirm that it has been fully closed or opened. Cleaning up the debris around the valve and keeping the working environment clean are also indispensable steps. It is very important to regularly maintain and service the electric butterfly valve, which includes lubricating the various parts of the valve, cleaning the valve surface, and checking the sealing performance of the valve, so as to extend the service life of the equipment and improve its working efficiency.
