The superior performance of the stop valve in flow regulation is mainly due to the exquisite design of its valve disc. The valve disc moves linearly along the center line of the valve seat. This movement ensures the close fit of the sealing surface between the valve disc and the valve seat, thereby effectively cutting off the medium. Under the demand for flow regulation, the valve disc does not need to be fully opened or closed, but can stay in a certain intermediate position, and the medium flow can be regulated by changing the opening size between the valve disc and the valve seat.

Specifically, the valve disc stroke of the stop valve is positively correlated with the change of the valve port. When the valve disc rises, the valve port gradually expands, and the medium flow increases accordingly; conversely, when the valve disc falls, the valve port gradually shrinks, and the medium flow decreases accordingly. This linear flow regulation characteristic enables the stop valve to achieve precise control of the flow in industrial production and meet the strict requirements of various processes for flow regulation.

In order to improve the accuracy of flow regulation, the valve disc and valve seat of the stop valve usually adopt carbide surfacing process to enhance its wear resistance, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance. This design not only extends the service life of the stop valve, but also ensures its stable and reliable operation in harsh environments. At the same time, the sealing surfaces of the valve disc and the valve seat are precisely machined and matched to ensure good sealing performance during the flow regulation process and prevent medium leakage.

In practical applications, the flow regulation function of the stop valve is widely used in many fields. For example, in the chemical production process, the inlet and outlet of the reactor usually need to accurately control the medium flow to ensure the stability and efficiency of the reaction. In this case, the flow regulation function of the stop valve is particularly important. By adjusting the position of the valve disc, the medium flow entering or leaving the reactor can be accurately controlled, thereby achieving effective control of the reaction process.

In addition, in HVAC systems, stop valves are also commonly used for flow regulation of hot and cold water pipes. By adjusting the opening of the stop valve, the flow of hot and cold water in the pipe can be accurately controlled, thereby achieving accurate regulation of the indoor temperature. This precise flow regulation function not only improves the operating efficiency of the system, but also significantly improves the user's comfort.
