CPVC Diaphragm Valve Features

CPVC diaphragm valve is a special form of shut-off valve, which has the following characteristics compared with other valves:

1. Elastic sealing opening and closing parts to ensure no internal leakage;

2. The streamlined flow channel makes the pressure loss small;

3. There is no filler, so there is no leakage;

4. The valve body and the cover are separated by the intermediate diaphragm, so that the valve cover, valve stem and other parts above the diaphragm are not eroded by the medium;

5. The diaphragm can be replaced, and the maintenance cost is low;

6. The variety of lining materials can be applied to various media and has good corrosion resistance.

CPVC diaphragm valve installation and maintenance

1. Before installation, it should be carefully checked whether the operating conditions of the pipeline are in line with the scope of application specified by the valve, and the inner cavity should be cleaned to prevent dirt from blocking or damaging the sealing parts.

2. The surface of the rubber lining laminated rubber diaphragm should not be painted with grease to prevent the rubber from swelling and affecting the service life of the valve.

3. Do not tie the thread to the handwheel or valve stem to lift the valve during installation.

4. When manually operating the valve, do not use the auxiliary lever to prevent damage to the driving parts or sealing parts due to excessive torque.

5. The valve should be stored in a dry and ventilated room, and it is strictly forbidden to stack. Both ends of the stock valve must be sealed, and the opening and closing parts should be in a slightly open state.
